The Ming dockyard was located in the recent areas of the ancient boatyard Shangbao, Zhongbao & Xiabao. 600 years ago, here was a seeingless untrod floodplain to the Yangtse River , replete with pools& reeds. According to the history, it was built the world’s biggest royal dockyard occupied over 1000 mu, 7 boatyards and all the titanic treasure ships were built here. From Ming & Qing Dynasty, the dockyard experienced centuries’ variance and just No.4,5,6 boatyards were left to be the ancient dockyard relics.
Now the treasure ship dockyard is bounded Lijiang Road in its east, Binjiang Street in its west, Jinpu in its north and Silver City in its south, occupied 198mu—about 130,000 square meters. The 3 left ponds were all the boatyards of the treasure dockyard relics 600years’ ago as the provincial cultural relics to be protect.

　　 1、 Big gate pailoo of the treasure ship relic was 16.52m ’s wide, 10.82m ’s high with majuscules “Treasure dockyard relic” on its forehead plaque by a centenarian Wu Zhongqi, famous calligrapher in China .
　　 2、 Museum Plaza : “Cheng Ho Copper Bell” was 1.6m ’s high, 650kg ’s weight in its center, “Unearth cultural relics Museum ” in its north & “lookout post” in its southwest.
　　 3、 ancient boatyards ranging from north to south as No.4,5,6, dug out thousands of unearth cultural relics. No.6 boatyard was finished the archeological research & No.4,5 boatyards as the original.
　　 4、 200.5m ’s long Stele corridor displayed “Nautical Chart”, “Cheng Ho’s star chart”, the most important 5 memorable replicas(the Xiaguan Celestial Spouse Palace Stele, Taichang Liuhe Town Stele, etc), grand calligraphy “Sea Spirit Ode”, 108 calligraphy & painting, copper stele sculpture to show the customs & stories of 7 times west navigation.
　　 5、West Plaza: White marble basso-relievo “Envoy Wall” ; Cheng Ho’ navigation Chart Water basso-relievo occupied a total area of 360 square meters; Cheng Ho’s full copper sculpture with 4.2m ’s high & 2 tons’ weight.
　　 6、Huge iron anchor with 4 tons’ weight in the No.4,5 boatyard of the central scenery.
　　 7、The whole relic garden has been installed advanced intelligent light system and if the important festivals came, the treasure ship relics would become a bright pearl in the darkness.
